Support Don Reckmann's Battle with Melanoma

Don Reckmann, also known as Papa Don, has been diagnosed with melanoma in the brain.

Don has been a fixture in the Maupin community and many other communities all his life. He volunteered countless hours in Head Start, Little League, all things Wasco County Fair, and many others.

So, my family and I have kept silent for the last 29 days.

We need lots of prayers and love.

Don is the one in the hospital with melanoma in the brain. We are being sent home because he didn't qualify for other care that is covered by insurance. We also do not have the funds for private care.

He was able to get cancer medication but has only been on them for 6 days.

Any help for us to bring him home is appreciated.
