After suffering a stroke a few months ago, Alberta (Berta) passed away in the loving arms of her husband Don, Sunday afternoon 3/15/2026. Don and Berta were married 31 years and had a beautiful marriage. The history of their marriage is unusual because Berta was 20 years older than Don. Some wondered what they would have in common. They had known each other for 20 years because of being in the same congregation. They each had a love for God and were devoted to living by his standards. They both played music, enjoyed the arts, and traveling together. When they traveled across the country, they never listened to music because they enjoyed each other's company so much. In short, Don and Berta truly enriched each other's lives. Don's final words to her were, "I love you sweetheart and I'm going to miss you for the rest of my life."

Don will have Berta cremated and would appreciate a little bit of help with the service. He'd appreciate any help that can be given. This is a great loss and anything would help. Thank you so much friends for your loving support.
