We are fundraising on behalf of our dad, Don, who is currently fighting esophageal cancer. He is undergoing intense chemotherapy in hopes of shrinking the tumor enough to proceed with a major surgery called an esophagectomy—a life-saving procedure that involves removing part or all of the esophagus and reshaping and reattaching the stomach.

Esophageal cancer is a serious disease that affects the esophagus, the long tube that carries food from the throat to the stomach. In our father's case, the cancer is advanced and has impacted his ability to maintain his energy and overall health.

This journey has been incredibly challenging, both physically and emotionally. The financial strain from ongoing treatments, transportation, and daily living expenses has become overwhelming.
