Dom has been a pillar of the Hopewell and East Fishkill community for years. As a Navy veteran and skilled woodworker, he’s always been the first to lend a hand—helping the East Fishkill Police Department and local businesses with remodels, and offering his time and expertise to anyone in need. His kindness, knowledge, and love for our town have touched so many lives.

Recently, Dom was hospitalized with a serious health issue. While doctors are still working on a diagnosis, it’s clear he’ll need surgery and upcoming treatments. This has turned his world upside down. The medical bills are already piling up, and Dom is unable to work, which means he’s also struggling to cover housing costs and care for his beloved dog, Summer.

I’m organizing this fundraiser because I met Dom while bartending at our local bar, and over the past six years, we’ve become best friends. Dom has always worried about everyone else, so now it’s time we worry about him. I want to help him with his mounting medical expenses, lost income, housing, and to ensure Summer is cared for during this difficult time. Every contribution will go directly to supporting Dom and giving him the stability he needs to focus on his recovery.
