My name is Domonique Sargent, I am 35 years young. While visiting family out-of-state in April 2025, I was hospitalized and soon found out I had stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Though I had some symptoms, I didn’t correlate them to cancer; I was completely blindsided.
My family decided it would be best for me not to return to Georgia and receive care here instead at the Cleveland Clinic.
Since my diagnosis, I have around a dozen appointments a month. In addition to that, I am starting chemotherapy this coming week, every two weeks for the next 6 months. Right now, I rely on my sister for most of my care. Please help support me. There are so many home supplies and items we still need to get in order to be ready treatment. I still have a long road ahead. Six months is longer then I thought and not being able to actively seek employment and get the run around for the government to be provided much need assistance monetarily for day to day necessities and food has taken a toll on my energy mood and just overall physical being.
