Domna Mariolis has been a beloved youth advisor to our Kimisis Tis Theotokou GOYA in Holmdel, NJ, since 2022. Even before that, her dedication to our community was unwavering—she has supported the Greek School PTO, Philoptochos, and volunteered tirelessly at our annual Greek Food Festival, giving her time and energy from start to finish each year. Domna’s kindness, generosity, and guidance have touched the lives of countless youth and families, making her an irreplaceable part of our community.
On Sunday, September 14th, while helping set up for the GOYA coffee hour, Domna suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and hemorrhagic stroke. She was rushed to JFK University Medical Center, where she is now in the Neuro ICU, bravely fighting for her life.
Domna faces a long and challenging recovery, requiring intensive medical care. Her role as a manager at ShopRite will be on hold for the foreseeable future, leaving her and her family with significant medical and financial needs.
We, her Kimisis GOYA family, want to stand beside Domna during this difficult time. Our prayers are constant, and now we are seeking to provide financial support to help her focus entirely on recovery with her husband, Michael Ciecierski, daughter, Aristea, and son Raymond Scranton by her side.
Your generosity can make a real difference for someone who has given so much to all of us. Let us come together to honor Domna’s dedication, love, and service to the Kimisis community. Every contribution helps ease the burden and sends a powerful message: she is not alone.
