Support Domita's Journey to Recovery

Dear friends and family of Domita,

I am writing with a heavy heart to share an update on Domita's health. As some of you may know, Domita has been struggling with vision issues in her left eye for the past 3 years. After extensive testing and a trip to the renowned Mayo Clinic, Domita has received difficult news - her retina has detached, and the doctors have determined that they will not be able to restore her vision in that eye.

Her medical team has recommended that Domita undergo an enucleation procedure on August 23rd. This will involve the removal of her left eye. This procedure will require Domita to travel to Rochester the day before the surgery and stay for several days afterward as she begins the healing process. Additionally, she will need to attend multiple follow-up appointments to be fitted for a prosthetic eye and to monitor her recovery.

I am reaching out to all of you, Domita's cherished friends and family, to request your support during this challenging time. The costs associated with Domita's travel, accommodation, food, and ongoing medical care will be considerable. Any financial contribution you are able to make, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated and would go a long way in helping to ease this burden.
