Support Dominique's Medical Supplies

Hello Friends,

Meet Dominique-

She is a charming 36 yr old young lady, full of smiles and affectionately called " Boo Boo”.  Dominique is affected by Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy since birth.

She also has Lumbar Scoliosis. She is not able to do anything for herself and henceforth, her physical care is at newborn level. I am her mother, full-time caregiver, sole provider and friend of Dominique.

We experience exclusion and deficiency.   Due to a lack of  understanding  and  support, very little guidance, social disconnect and irregular income provision.   We rapidly grew to be the shut-in people.

Special needs equipment and adaptive aids for the very challenged were not and still are not readily available. Dominique has grown more disabled, bearing her growing pains. But like a good soldier, her spirit rises to meet her day with generous smiles and loud sounds for pleasure or displeasure to express her unique self. Dominique does not have speech.

As her mother, there is a vigilant work of lifting, carrying, feeding, special meal preparations and personal care maintenance. Our work day is 18 to 20 hrs. on duty.

We are both growing older; lifting and carrying Dominique has become very challenging for me. Henceforth, there is an urgent need for a special comfort wheelchair that can tilt and recline to provide essential body support for feeding, maintenance, mobility, going for doctor’s visits and more. This would truly be a great blessing for us.

I am making an appeal for financial assistance to acquire  a specialized wheelchair with accessories, gastrostomy feeding tubes and a powerful blender.

I am so happy that today, in this 21st century, there is much more help, information and technology, to aid children born with many challenges. This was not so 36 years ago for Dominique and myself. Dominique and others of her time fell into the category of "the forgotten children ".

Today, I ask you please to remember Dominique by donating to bring inclusion to her world, even in going for a stroll in nature to behold the beauty of the earth and the glory of the skies. There are many rivers to cross in the journeys of life.

Please help us to cross over to a brighter new season.

Thank you for caring, thank you for sharing.

May God Bless you more.
