Support Dominique's Fight Against Aggressive Breast Cancer

Hello, my name is Danielle and I am creating this GoFundMe page to raise support for my sister, Dominique, and her family as she undergoes treatment for HER2 Positive Invasive Ductal Carcinoma - an aggressive form of breast cancer. HER diagnosis was confirmed on Christmas Eve.

Since she was a young girl, Dominique has valued family and friendships above all else. With that mindset, she has gone above and beyond to create the life she had long dreamed of. First by marrying the love of her life, Craig, in 2014. Then adding two beautiful baby boys, Carter (2 years old) and Cameron (5 months old). While this diagnosis adds an unexpected chapter to their story, Dominique is committed to beating HER cancer and continuing their family story stronger than ever.

As a stay-at-home mom, Dominique has dedicated her life to raising her two boys. Unfortunately, with her upcoming course of treatment, the family has made the decision to enroll Carter in daycare. While there is no doubt the new socialization and teaching environment will benefit the fun-loving two year old, this is another new essential expense, both emotionally and financially, for their family.

As you can imagine, the emotional toll of a diagnosis like breast cancer isn't the only cost a young family may face. The financial burden of medical treatments and new essential expenses can be overwhelming. There is no place for financial worry in the battle for one's life and together we can help Domo and her family with this part of HER journey.

Over the course of the next year, Dominique and her cancer care team plan to face HER cancer head on. Dominique already had her port put in and will be starting chemotherapy by the end of January 2025. Chemotherapy will last about 5 months, followed by surgery, and then HER2 targeted infusions for the rest of the year. While they are hard at work on that front, we can offer our help and support by alleviating the financial burden.
