Support Dominique and Devin Bridges Journey to Nationals!

Dominique and Devin Bridges, have achieved a significant milestone and qualified for the USA Track & Field Junior Olympic National Championships in Savannah, GA on July 23rd-27th. This is a tremendous accomplishment that reflects their hard work, dedication, and training.

They only started track specific training in April and in just two meets this summer have already achieved so much.

Devin has won a total of 3 medals, at the Body Armour State Games on June 8th he placed 1st in the 8u boys long jump with a jump of 11 feet 1.5 inches. A few weeks later at the USATF Region 3 Championships he placed 3rd in the 8u division long jump as well as a 3rd place finish in the mini javelin to punch his ticket to nationals.

DJ has had quite the run in his first two meets as well. At the Body Armour State games he placed 2nd in the Boys 11-12 long jump with a length of 14 feet 5 inches and also had a 4th place finish in the 80 meter hurdles. At the USATF Region 3 Championships he placed 5th in the boys 11-12 division 80 meter hurdles and set a new personal record of 14.31 seconds to cut off more than a full second off his previous best, at the same meet he also finished 8th in the long jump to qualify for nationals.

Their journey to Nationals is a testament to their unwavering commitment over the last few months to reach their goal of competing with some of the best on the national stage. Not only do they get it done on the track but they are both A honor roll students and are a true representation of what it means to be Student Athletes.

However, the cost of participating in the National Championships presents a challenge. The expenses for travel, accommodation, entry fees, and other related costs for the entire week are estimated at a little over $1,200.
