Dominic is just your ordinary 13-year-old, full of life and dreams. Last November, his world changed when he was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Since then, Dominic has bravely faced intense chemotherapy treatments, showing incredible strength and resilience. For a while, he was responding well, but everything changed during his most recent round of chemo. On April 27th, Dominic suffered a major setback. He began having trouble breathing due to a massive bleed, and his heart stopped, requiring a full Cardiac Code Blue. Thanks to the quick actions of his doctors and nurses, Dominic’s heart was restarted, but he is now in a medically induced coma in the ICU, fighting for his life on a ventilator.

This journey has been incredibly hard on Dominic and his family, especially his mother, Kendall. She has had to miss tremendous amounts of work to be by his side every step of the way. The financial strain, combined with the emotional toll, has been overwhelming.
