- some help and we just don’t know what else to do!
Dominic was diagnosed a couple of months ago at age 38 with testicular cancer. He had surgery a couple of weeks ago and had one removed. The doctor gives him a very good prognosis; they removed two tumors, and it doesn’t appear to have spread. That’s the excellent news!
However, he does have to go through one round of chemotherapy, and they are telling him that he should plan on being off work for a month. However, he did recently start a new job at a mortgage company, and as many of you are probably aware, most of his income is commission. He will be unable to work, and although we are helping him as much as we can right now, he needs to pay all of his bills for next month, and then of course, because he will be out of work and missing commissions, he will have very little once he goes back the following month.
He is out of his paid time off and is extremely frightened about his future. He didn’t really want to go this route; he’s an extremely private young man, but for anyone who knows him, they know that he has a heart of gold. Please help with anything that you’re able to. Thank you!!
