It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of sweet Dominic JR Colón on March 31, 2025, who transitioned peacefully after courageously living with a complex heart condition. Dominic’s spirit was full of light, love, and resilience. He touched so many lives in his time here and leaves behind a family who adored him deeply.

In the weeks leading up to his passing, Dominic’s mother Bernatrice, made the brave decision to leave her job to care for him full-time, and Dominic’s father Ruben, became the sole financial provider—an act of love that reflects the kind of parents they are. Now, in the wake of unimaginable loss, the family is facing significant emotional and financial burdens.

We are raising funds to help cover:

• Medical expenses from Dominic’s care

• Funeral and memorial costs to honor his life

• Essential living expenses as the family takes time to grieve and heal

This support will give them the space to breathe, mourn, and begin to move forward without the added pressure of financial hardship.
