Hello most of you all know me as Dominica Nikki Smith I am a resident of Tyler county and attend Valley Church and mom of two beautiful little girls Paisley 10 and Preslee 6. Some of you may know me as the girl who would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need as I’ve helped many people in Wetzel and Tyler County rather be cleaning there home babysitting there dog or caring for the elderly loved one or even just shoveling snow by donation this year. On April 22,2026 I went in for a hysterectomy should have been a simple procedure and be healed by now well little did we know I was 6 days into my recovery and was having more severe pain and getting worse a friend of mine Kim and another friend Stafford rushed me to Sistersville General Hospital I have since been transferred to United Hospital Center with an infection and a hematoma blood clot my expected release date is unknown at this time as we have to monitor the drain and make sure nothing is continuing to bleed and ensure it all drains if not then I will be taken for yet again another surgery. My husband had to take off work April 22,2026 for a week for the hysterectomy to begin with and now we have been hospitalized since Saturday and have a long road of doctors appointments and follow ups bills back home our pilling up I would like to help take the financial burden off my husband who never left my side except to get him food any donation any amount is greatly appreciated this will allow us to fully focus on getting me better at this time and allow him to be off to help me once I’m released home with the drains. Donations will also help with gas to clarksburg and back to Tyler county it’s 1 hr each way as well as help with any bills at home since my husband is currently staying with me over an hour from our home.
