Support Domenico's Recovery and Caffe Paradiso
Donation protected
On the late afternoon of June 27th, Domenico was attacked in front of his restaurant, Caffe Paradiso, in Brentwood. It resulted in a concussion and several bruises on his shoulder and ribs. Domenico now suffers from post-concussion syndrome, severe eye pain, headaches, dizziness, among other symptoms. Due to this incident, Domenico was forced to close the business for a week, leading to a significant loss of his supplies and earnings. He reopened under restricted duties, requiring his current employee to work more hours, which comes at an additional cost. Many have suggested creating a GoFundMe to help him recover his losses. He listened.
Over the years, Domenico has become an indispensable part of the community. His love of people and his desire to delight them with great food have been the foundation of Caffe Paradiso, also referred to as a second home by many of his customers. It all started during the pandemic, when he was looking for a location to open his new restaurant, that is when fell for that “paradise” view. Hence, Caffe Paradiso. He ran larger restaurants in different places around East Bay, but never something that intimate. It was perfect for him. He made it a great environment for interpersonal relationships to flourish. Many customers became his close friends. Yet, in these difficult times, he needs some support.
