Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

I have created this GoFundMe to ask for support as our dear friend, Dolphin Riggs, recovers from a minor stroke and a serious hiking fall. This past Saturday, Dolphin was hiking at Laurel Snow when she fell down a rocky embankment, sustaining significant injuries, including head trauma.

First responders acted quickly, getting her to a clearing on the trail to be air lifted to UT Medical Center. She spent multiple days at the hospital receiving extensive medical care, including CT scans, X-rays, MRIs, physical therapy, etc.

Thankfully, Dolphin is back at home safely recovering. This journey will be long and filled with medical expenses, including physical therapy and medications. These costs, combined with the loss of income, are creating stress during an already difficult time.

Dolphin has helped and touched so many folks in her life, a person who brightens the lives of everyone around her. It is now time for us to give back to her during this path to recovery.
