Tomorrow marks a year since I unexpectedly lost my best friend, Myla. She was the most loyal and intelligent dog I've ever met. Caring for her throughout my 20's taught me so much about patience, forgiveness, and unconditional love. Her companionship carried me through some of my hardest moments, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be who I am today if she hadn’t come into my life over ten years ago.

To honor Myla’s memory, I’ve decided to sponsor the adoption fee for a dog who has been at my local humane society the longest. I’m able to fully cover one adoption on my own, but there are so many dogs who have been waiting far too long for a home. If you feel moved to contribute, any amount will help, and together we may be able to sponsor more than one dog’s adoption.
