After 6 long months fighting in the hospital, Dodie enters her end of life comfort care treatment.

This has been the most traumatic, emotional, financial & unbelievably heart breaking situation. If everyone could please donate to my best friend to help with cremation & funeral costs. Her and her brother can not do this alone ❤️

I’m reaching out on behalf of my best friend, Melissa Ryan, and her incredibly strong mother, Dodie Ryan. Recently, Dodie underwent open-heart surgery, a tough procedure that came with unexpected complications.

Now, facing a long and challenging recovery with more surgeries ahead, they find themselves in a situation they never imagined.

Melissa, her brother Steve and Dodie are currently at Duke Hospital in North Carolina, far from their home on Long Island.

Melissa, who has always been a beacon of strength for her family, is now struggling to keep up with the mounting expenses. With medical bills, rent to pay back on Long Island and the need to stay by her mother’s side during this critical time, the financial burden is overwhelming.

For those of you who know Melissa, Dodie, & Steve you know how kind-hearted and generous they are. They’ve always been there for others, offering help in times of need. Now, they need our help.
