I am Dr. Mohammed B.S. Alreqeb , 33 years old.

I am a Gynecologist From Gaza, which has been under siege for years, since October 7 Until this moment people have been subjected to genocide, the aggression and bombing of our people in Gaza has not stopped where I lost around 50 persons from my close relatives beside destroying my neighborhood where I grow up completely (please check video no. 1) . In addition to all kinds of suffering, torment and violations. Slow death due to hunger, thirst, displacement, spread of diseases and inability to obtain any medical care. And the constant threat of death due to the continuous bombing. Since the beginning of the war, my family and I have been displaced several times from our home in Khan Yunis in the south , and after that to Rafah, where we now live in completely inhumane conditions, Now I live in a tent with my family which consist of my wife & 2 babies daughters, one of them born last January during the war with Cleft lip due to her mother’s inhalation of toxic gases in the last trimester of pregnancy, also she born with sepsis due to lack of medical care for pregnant women in the war.

What happened with my newborn daughter Inspired me to establish the first medical tent made of nylon and some cloth in Rafah to give care for displaced pregnant women & providing them with necessary medications & ultrasound, Since last January till now I’m treating between 70 to 100 cases of women & pregnant women every day in this tent for free despite the lack of resources beside my work in the maternity hospital (please check video no. 2,3 &4).

I have decided to send this message after great contemplation and hesitation. When I realized that there are no longer any options left for me to support my family in their essential life necessities here or to keep them safe. Moreover, unfortunately I have lost everything including my house, and all my life savings was spent to this war, it got bombed and I remained empty handed.

My Campaign Objectives:

1. Support my family to survive in Gaza City and I’m seeking funds to provide them with essential goods for the next 6 months.

the war has made many essential needs inaccessible, approximately a 900% markup for essential goods. For example, Pre-war,1 sack of flour would have been $40 USD, but it is now $250 USD, Also the cost of one package of diapers (28 diapers) has reached around 200 shekels (54$), with prices increasing daily, Now The estimated cost of living per month for a family of 4 is $ 4000 USD/ month. This is approximately $1000 USD per person, per month.

2. I attempted to travel to treat my newborn daughter, where she needs a surgery to her lip to live as a normal kid (I need approximately 50,000 dollars which will cover coordination’s fee, travel, treatment, living expenses, & survival until return)

3. rebuild my live & my house after the war ends. (the cost before war start from $50,000).

أنا الدكتور محمد الرقب 33 سنة

طبيب نسائي من غزة المحاصرة منذ سنوات. منذ أحداث 7 أكتوبر وحتى هذه اللحظة يتعرض الناس للإبادة الجماعية، ولم يتوقف العدوان والقصف على أهلنا في غزة حيث فقدت حوالي 50 شخصًا من أقاربي المقربين إلى جانب تدمير الحي الذي نشأت فيه تمامًا ( الرجاء مشاهدة فيديو1 ). بالإضافة إلى كل أنواع المعاناة والعذاب والانتهاكات, أيضا الموت البطيء بسبب الجوع والعطش والنزوح وانتشار الأمراض وعدم القدرة على الحصول على أي رعاية طبية. والتهديد المستمر بالقتل بسبب القصف المستمر. منذ بداية الحرب، نزحت أنا وعائلتي عدة مرات من منزلنا في خان يونس في الجنوب، وبعد ذلك إلى رفح، حيث نعيش الآن في ظروف غير إنسانية على الإطلاق، والآن أعيش في خيمة مع عائلتي وهي مكونة من زوجتي وطفلتين رضيعتين، إحداهما ولدت في يناير الماضي أثناء الحرب مصابة بالشفة الأرنبية بسبب استنشاق والدتها للغازات السامة في الأشهر الثلاثة الأخيرة من الحمل، كما ولدت مصابة بالإنتان بسبب عدم وجود رعاية طبية للنساء الحوامل في الحرب

ما حدث مع ابنتي حديثة الولادة ألهمني لإنشاء أول خيمة طبية مصنوعة من النايلون وبعض القماش في رفح لرعاية النساء الحوامل النازحات وتزويدهن بالأدوية اللازمة والموجات فوق الصوتية، منذ يناير الماضي وحتى الآن أعالج العشرات من النساء والنساء الحوامل كل يوم في هذه الخيمة مجاناً رغم قلة الإمكانيات بجانب عملي في مستشفى الولادة . لقد قررت أن أرسل هذه الرسالة بعد تفكير و تردد كبيرين. عندما أدركت أنه لم يعد هناك أي خيارات متبقية بالنسبة لي لدعم عائلتي في ضروريات حياتهم الأساسية هنا أو للحفاظ على سلامتهم. علاوة على ذلك، لسوء الحظ، فقدت كل شيء بما في ذلك منزلي، وأنفقت كل مدخراتي في هذه الحرب، حيث تم قصفها وبقيت خالي الوفاض

لقد جعلت الحرب العديد من الاحتياجات الأساسية غير قابلة للوصول، و ما يقرب من 900٪ تضخم في أسعار السلع الأساسية. على سبيل المثال، قبل الحرب، كان سعر شوال الدقيق الواحد 40 دولارًا أمريكيًا، لكنه الآن أصبح 250 دولارًا أمريكيًا، كما وصلت تكلفة علبة الحفاضات الواحدة (28 حفاضة) إلى حوالي 200 شيكل (54 دولارًا) مع ارتفاع الأسعار يوميًا ، الآن تبلغ تكلفة المعيشة المقدرة شهريًا لأسرة مكونة من 4 أفراد 4000 دولار أمريكي شهريًا. هذا ما يقرب من 1000 دولار أمريكي للشخص الواحد شهريًا

السفر لعلاج ابنتي حديثة الولادة، حيث تحتاج إلى عملية جراحية لشفتها لتعيش كطفلة طبيعية (أحتاج إلى ما يقرب من 50 ألف دولار لتغطية رسوم التنسيق والسفر والعلاج ونفقات المعيشة والبقاء على قيد الحياة حتى العودة )

أن أعيد بناء حياتي ومنزلي بعد انتهاء الحرب. ( التكلفة قبل الحرب تبدأ من 50ألف د ولار )
