Support Doctoral Student's Autism Research
Donation protected
I'm a doctoral student at Slippery Rock University. My dissertation is entitled "The Impact of Skill-Based Treatment in Public School Classrooms." I supported three school teams in implementing skill-based treatment with seven students with autism who engaged in severe problem behavior. Treatment showed increased participation and decreased severe problem behavior across almost all participants.
My research has been accepted to be presented at a poster session at The Association of Behavior Analysis International's (ABAI) 19th Annual Autism Conference in New Orleans, LA, on January 18, 2025. Unfortunately, the list of expenses to attend is rather long. Expenses include a registration fee of over $500, travel, and hotel. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!
