At 70 years young, I’m proud to say I’m still chasing dreams that inspire me, and hopefully, others too. I’m Dobreena Helm, a passionate advocate for health, wellness, and empowerment. I’m honored to be a contestant for Senior Miss Black America 2026, a journey that celebrates beauty, purpose, and resilience at every age.

Why I’m Asking for Your Support

As a senior on a fixed income, the financial demands of preparing for this pageant have been challenging. Between travel, wardrobe, coaching, and event participation, the costs add up quickly.

Yet, I believe this moment isn’t just about me, it’s about showing the world that confidence, elegance, and purpose never grow old.

My mission is simple, to inspire women of all ages to prioritize their health, nurture their well-being, and embrace self-love. Through this pageant, I want to share that message on a national stage, empowering others to live vibrantly and fearlessly.

The Positivity Cruise Experience

As part of the Senior Miss Black America journey, I’ll be participating in the Positivity Cruise, happening February 14–22, 2026. This life-changing experience will allow me to connect with women nationwide, share my story, and shine a light on my platform of wellness and positivity.
