Windy Plummer here, I don't EVER ask for anything and do my best to help everyone out, please consider helping Dobby our 11-month-old Blue Heeler, and he’s truly the gentle giant of our family. Just a few days ago, Dobby started getting very sick—he was coughing up blood, became lethargic, stopped eating, and his gums turned white and began to bleed. We rushed him to the UF Vet Hospital in Gainesville, where they ran blood work and x-rays. The vets determined that Dobby had gotten into some kind of poison and now needs a blood transfusion, plasma, oxygen, and careful monitoring to have a chance at recovery.
Dobby is super cute and doppy. He has always been a sweet presence in our home, bringing joy and comfort to everyone around him. Seeing him so sick has been heartbreaking for us. My wife Kim and I are both extremely worried about his wellbeing, and the vet bill is very, very expensive. Kim handles our bills and is doing everything she can to make ends meet, but this emergency is overwhelming. Any donation or help in some way would mean the world to us, and Dobby would be forever grateful to keep living his Doppy life.
We’re reaching out for support to help cover the cost of Dobby’s emergency care. Every contribution goes directly to his treatment and gives him the best chance to recover. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page helps more than you know. Thank you for caring about Dobby and for supporting our family during this difficult time.
