Hello! My name is Cassia Massey, and I live in the United States. I am organizing this campaign on behalf of my friend, Doaa Hamdy. I met Doaa through mutual friends experiencing the ongoing genocide in Gaza. She has a kind and gentle heart, as evidenced by her utter devotion to her husband and children. Prior to the war, Doaa was studying Engineering and Mathematics, but has been unable to attend since the bombings on October 7th.

Doaa struggles to provide to her three children: Jafar, Rita, and Ahmed, and her husband, Abdalmajeed Zaqout. Her legs have been injured from the fighting, and she still has to walk many miles a day to collect food and other basic necessities. The costs of these items has skyrocketed, and all she wants is to find peace and safety for her family. Doaa also has to pay to rent a tent, at a cost similar to many mortgages.
