Hello! My name is Faith Codallos, and I’m a junior at the University of Southern California. As a Mexican Korean filmmaker, I feel incredibly privileged to study at the number one film school. This semester, I’m creating my junior thesis film, “Do You See Me?”, and I’m asking for your support in bringing it to life.
This film is deeply personal. Do You See Me? is inspired by the internal chaos that comes with anxiety, perfectionism, and obsessive self-doubt. It follows Taylor, a young adult who constantly second-guesses their self and feels overwhelmed by the pressure to get everything “right.” My goal is to capture an experience so many people silently live with and to help others feel seen, understood, and less alone.
Although USC requires film and TV production students to make junior-level thesis films to graduate, the school does not fund them. That means students like me must fully finance our own projects to pass the class.
Your contribution will go directly toward essential production costs, including food for the cast and crew, helping us maintain a safe, professional, and humane set.
Thank you so much for reading, and thank you for helping me tell a story that truly matters. Any contribution means the world to me, your support is more appreciated than you know.
Directed by Faith Codallos
Produced by Vincent Singer
Cinematography by Pauline Forstall
