Like any independent film, Do Not Disturb comes with real challenges, especially as a first project at this scale. While principal photography is now complete, there is still a significant amount of work ahead of us. We’re operating with a limited budget, a small team, and ambitious goals for the film’s release, festival run, and overall impact.
One of our biggest challenges is making sure the finished film reaches its full potential. That means investing in the final stages of the process, including post-production, color, sound, festival submissions, marketing materials, and distribution expenses. We poured everything we had into production and are incredibly proud of what we captured on set. Now, our focus is on giving the film the strongest possible life beyond the shoot itself.
Another challenge is ensuring that Do Not Disturb is seen by the audiences it was made for. Independent films don't simply end when filming wraps; they require extensive work to prepare for festivals, create promotional assets, and build awareness. Every contribution helps us cover the costs associated with sharing the film with programmers, industry professionals, and audiences around the world. We’re aware that the road ahead may not be perfectly smooth, and that’s part of the process. What gives us confidence is the commitment of everyone involved. Over the course of production, our team proved its ability to solve problems, adapt quickly, and support one another through every challenge. We’re bringing that same energy into the final stages of the project as we work toward our ultimate goal: delivering a film we’re proud of and giving it the best possible chance to succeed.
