I rarely engage in fundraising, but this is a tragedy very close to my heart.

Earlier this spring, my husband's 38 year nephew, Dmitriy Tkachenko, suffered a catastrophic cardiac event, which left him fighting for his life, with a very uncertain prognosis. Over the last 6 months, he has made significant medical progress and continuous to fight courageously toward his recovery. However to date, he remains hospitalized and faces a lengthy and challenging rehabilitation process. Integrative and unconventional treatment methods have been incredibly effective, but are not covered by insurance and the family is struggling to keep up with the mounting medical expenses.

This is a young man, who is a father, son, grandson, uncle and nephew, who has everything to live for, and come back to. Please donate whatever you can, and share as much as possible, no amount is too small or insignificant .
