A few days ago, my fiancée Dj experienced multiple seizures and was rushed to the hospital. It was a terrifying experience, and things became even more frightening when he began to feel paralyzed on the right side of his body. After a series of tests, we learned that Dj was suffering from Todd’s Paralysis, a condition that mimics the symptoms of a stroke. The uncertainty and fear during those moments were overwhelming for both of us.

Now, as Dj faces a long road to recovery, we are confronted with mounting medical bills from his hospital stay, the medications he needs, and the possibility of inpatient rehabilitation. These costs are far beyond what we can manage on our own, and the financial stress is adding to an already difficult situation. Dj has always been the kind of person who would help anyone in need, and now, for the first time, we find ourselves needing to ask for help.
