Hello, Its Nicole and I’m reaching out with a mother’s heart full of hope but also worry. My grandson, DJ, is currently hospitalized at Seattle Children’s Hospital, facing serious medical challenges that require ongoing care, treatments, and extended recovery.

As DJ’s primary and only caregiver, I have taken time off from my family childcare buisness to stay by his side through every test, every procedure, and every long night in the hospital. While I wouldn’t be anywhere else but with him, this is going to place a huge financial strain on our family. The costs of medical bills, travel, parking, and daily living expenses are adding up quickly—especially as I’m unable to work during this time.

I’m creating this fundraiser to ask for help covering:

• Medical-related costs not fully covered by insurance

• Travel and lodging expenses to and from Seattle Children’s

• Household bills and living expenses while I’m out of work

• Ongoing care and rehabilitation DJ will need after leaving the hospital

DJ is such a strong and resilient child—he’s my hero. I want to make sure he has everything he needs to recover fully and thrive, without the crushing weight of financial worry on our shoulders.
