Support DJ's Healing Journey After Severe Injury

Hello, my name is DJ. I recently had an accident which broke my left radius in half, it requires a plate and screws. I'm going in for surgery Tuesday the 15th, and apparently, my insurance is not covering my surgery. It's over 12,500 dollars, This is a huge hit, not to mention not being able to work. I'm a self-employed business owner, and I subcontract as well, and have not been able to do any of that work due to the injury. I've never been one to look for handouts; I've always worked my ass off for everything I've gotten, so it kills me to have to ask anybody to contribute anything to help right now, but my family and I can really use any assistance. The bills are piling up, and I literally can't do anything about it at the moment! I've never felt this helpless in my life! I'm used to giving it 110% all day long until I quit, and now my body is in pain! I'm trying to heal as fast as possible so that I can get back to work and take care of business again!
