We’re cooking fried chicken, shrimp, and fries to honor and celebrate the life of our beloved DJ. This isn’t about a GoFundMe—our family is doing what we can—but if you knew and loved DJ, and you’re looking for a way to show your support or find closure, we welcome you to come see us.

DJ had 12 siblings—6 brothers and 6 sisters—and was deeply loved by his family and so many others. He left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Tragically, DJ was fatally shot and left overnight. There are multiple cameras and possible witnesses who saw what happened, but we don't want to dwell on the pain—we want to focus on sending him home peacefully and with the love he deserves.
