Hi everyone, my name is Cheyenne, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my brother, DJ Self, and his family.

Earlier today, my brother underwent open heart surgery — a major procedure that will require a long and difficult recovery. He’s always been someone who puts everyone else first: a dedicated father, husband, and provider who works tirelessly for his family.

Before this surgery, he was a single dad to two wonderful kids, and in recent years, he found love again and built a beautiful blended family with his new wife, Jenny, who has five children of her own. Together, they are now raising seven kids under one roof. Their home is full of laughter, love, and chaos (the best kind), but right now, it’s also full of uncertainty.

He’ll be out of work for several weeks while recovering, and his wife is taking time off to care for him and their children. With both parents temporarily away from work, their household is facing an unexpected financial strain during an already challenging time.

We’re asking for help to ease the financial stress so that they can focus on what truly matters — his recovery and their family’s well-being. Your donations will go directly toward medical expenses, bills, groceries, and essential needs for the kids while he heals.
