We are reaching out to you today asking for your support for a beloved member of our community, George—known to many as “DJ George.”

In July 2024, George received the life-altering diagnosis of Stage 4 Cancer. For over 25 years, George has been more than just a DJ; he has been a cornerstone of our community, bringing joy to countless events and volunteering his time and talents to support local causes. Whether it was playing music at fundraisers for the Somerset County 4-H Association, Jack’s Kids (Elks), or the local Moose Lodge, George has always been there for us. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.

This sudden illness has turned George and his family’s lives upside down. The financial burden of chemotherapy treatments, hospital stays, rehabilitation services, and day-to-day expenses has become overwhelming. George’s wife, Annette, is working tirelessly to support the family while facing her own medical challenges. Despite her best efforts, insurance coverage has fallen short, leaving them to shoulder the costs of vital services.

Annette and their daughter, Mellissa, have always been active volunteers in our community, dedicating countless hours to organizations like the Somerset County 4-H Association, where they serve as club leaders and chair multiple fundraising events. Their generosity and commitment to helping others have touched so many lives, and now they need our help.

We are asking friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers to come together to support George, Annette, and Mellissa during this incredibly difficult time.
