Support Deveney throughout these difficult days.
The time has come for Deveney to begin her rigorous trek into Bone Marrow Transplantation. On February 17th We will travel to Boston to begin a heavy regimen of consolidated chemotherapy during the week prior to her Transplant date of February 24th. After the procedure we will need to procure a hotel near Dana Farber Hospital in Boston for a period of time spanning from 30-90 days . In which she will have to ride a shuttle to the hospital daily for anti-rejection injections. This extended hotel rental could unfortunately prove to be quite costly. When she is stable enough to finally return home we must employ a professional housekeeper to thoroughly clean our home. (As I must continue to work..while at the same time be at her side as much as possible. ) Once a week as Deveney will be void of immunity altogether and at high risk for any and all potential infection.
The challenges are that a 2 income household has now become a 1 income household. Simply put income has dropped significantly , yet medical costs and other subsequent costs have sharply increased.
Deveney will need much support and assistance throughout this journey. Something I am 1,000% invested in every single moment moving forward...but haven’t quite the capacity to see her through this on my own.
Asking for help goes against our very nature... however when life becomes too much to move forward on our own we must set ego and pride aside to save the lives of our Loved ones. Something extremely difficult for Dev and myself. Honestly..If Dev knew I was doing this she would be upset and want me to stop it.
I just want The best chance of recovery and healing for her...and for Deveney to focus only on these things...nothing else whatsoever.
Covid 19 has made our finances much more difficult to manage and makes it completely understandable if donations cannot be made. Life has gotten harder for most all of us. Any support and donation through this journey would be utterly amazing and beyond appreciated.
