Hey, I’m DJ Curl – and this year for my 31st birthday, I’m raising money for a passion project that I've been thinking about for a while.

In 2023, I adopted a simple but powerful motto: FITST – short for “Faithful in the Small Things.”

It came from a place of deep reflection — realizing that true growth doesn't happen through quick fixes or overnight success, but through slow, steady, intentional steps. I started to believe that the beauty and satisfaction I was chasing weren’t out there somewhere in the distance — they were hidden in how I handled the small, unseen moments. The ones only I, and God, noticed.

Why This Project?

I’ve always loved to communicate. But like many of us, I’ve battled with imposter syndrome — letting mixed motives and fear rob me of my authentic voice.

Over the past two years, though, life has humbled me and helped me heal. I’ve begun to truly understand why I believed I wasn’t enough — and that process set me free to just be… me.

Now, I’m ready to use my voice — not as a "guru" with all the answers — but as a friend locking arms with others, navigating a chaotic world with curiosity, love and humor.

How You Can Help

I’m fundraising to bring FITST to life through content, design, storytelling, and community-building. Every dollar will go directly toward:

-Equipment + tools for creating content (audio, video, design)

-Branding and web development

-Strategic rollout and outreach

-Supporting early community-building efforts (events, collaborations, etc.)

I don't want to overcomplicate this because I'm in no rush to monetize this effort and quit my day job. I just see there is an opportunity for me to be my authentic self, connect with others who are passionate about the same things I'm passionate about, and be an encouragement to others who may be in the same boat. I struggled with even doing this, but, the older I get, the more I realize how fun it is to support others who are seeking to make a positive impact in the world. I hope this can be that kind of opportunity for some of you who have a couple extra bucks and believe in my heart to love others from an authentic place.
