I'm DJ Clean, a DJ with over 20 years of experience. I've been lucky enough to share my love for music at countless events—from weddings and clubs to tours and beyond. When I started at 17, I had no one to show me the ropes. There were no YouTube tutorials, just a few books, and my love for music pushed me to learn it all independently.

Today, I'm thrilled to give back by teaching DJing to a talented group of kids through the Our Spot after-school program at Loma Alta Park. Every Thursday, I help these teens understand the art of DJing—how to mix, build a playlist, make people dance, and solve tech challenges. It's also about helping them find their voice and confidence. They show up every week, eager to learn, and it's incredible to see their excitement!

This is where you come in. I've set up this GoFundMe to get some new equipment so we can level up their experience. Unfortunately, at Loma Alta, over $3,000 in DJ gear was stolen during the pandemic. I'd love to bring that back for these kids, plus donate a setup to the park so they have what they need for future classes.

This gear will make a huge difference, giving each kid the chance to learn independently and develop their skills. Plus, we're gearing up for something special—the Winter PAD event on December 21st in Pasadena, where each student will perform a 10-minute DJ set! It's a big step for them, and they're working hard to prepare.
