Support DJ Aspen's Surgery and Recovery

AYE YOOOOOO,

I’m reaching out for support after an unexpected injury flipped my world upside down. I have a hard time asking for help because i'm so independent but I can't do this alone so im calling on my community!

Earlier this month, I took a trip up to Mt. Hood for a snowboarding day — something I’ve come to love as a new part of my Portland life. Unfortunately, I ended the day with a fractured ankle that now requires emergency surgery on May 2nd.

As a full-time DJ, creative, and small business owner who lives alone, this injury has hit hard. Not only will I be off my feet for several weeks, but I’m also unable to work gigs, travel, or manage day-to-day tasks without help. Between medical bills, rent, and basic living expenses, the costs are stacking up quickly.

Your support will help cover:

-Surgery and medical expenses not fully covered by insurance

-Groceries, meals, and delivery while I recover solo

-Rent and utilities while I’m unable to work

-Mobility support (i need a scooter ASAP)
