D.J. Harrington and his wife Shelia are facing an incredibly difficult season. D.J. is a respected phone skills trainer, motivational speaker, and friend to so many across the automotive industry. For years, he has taught, inspired, and encouraged others as the “Car-Diologist” and the “Tow-Doctor,” always pouring into people with wisdom, heart, and hope. Now, D.J. is the one who needs help. He has been dealing with serious medical challenges, including Guillain-Barré syndrome, CIDP, mobility struggles, and infections related to a prostate procedure. Even while carrying all of this, D.J. has kept his amazing smile, but these health issues and other life events have left him and Shelia in a very hard financial position.

D.J. does have some medical coverage, but it is not enough to keep up with the monthly basics. This fundraiser will help cover living expenses such as housing rent, insurance, and other essential needs while D.J. and Shelia do their best to manage on a fixed income. So many people have been impacted by D.J.’s leadership through the Automotive Recyclers Association, United Recyclers Group, American Towing and Recovery Institute, and even work connected to the PGA. His classes, training, and encouragement have helped countless people grow in both life and work. This fundraiser is being organized by Shannon Nordstrom, Mike Kunkle, and many other leaders in the industry who want to stand with D.J. and Shelia during this time.
