Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to come and read about Dixie. Unfortunately, our girl Dixie was unexpectedly diagnosed with bone cancer on Monday night in her hind leg. It first started as a limp, which we just thought was something that goes along with her getting older, but it proceeded to get worse, so we took a trip to the vet where we got the heartbreaking news. Bone cancer is a painful disease, so we decided to at least give her the most pain-free option, and that is to amputate her leg. She is still her fun-spirited self and acts like the biggest puppy. We have booked her surgery for January 7th so it can be done as quickly as possible. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and thank you so much for taking the time to read about our girl.
