Support McDevitt's Rebuild After Fire

On 7/15/24, there was a 5-alarm fire at 428 Logee St in Woonsocket that displaced my father (John McDevitt Sr), brother (Steven McDevitt), and their roommate (Doreen Hadge) along with the 1st and 3rd-floor occupants as the building is now uninhabitable.

They have been renting the second floor of this triple-decker for 6 years and this fire has forced them to start from scratch. All food and medications need to be replaced. They are trying to salvage any usable items but will likely need to replace clothing and hygiene products.

They have booked a hotel room for 5 days with the assistance of the Red Cross, but that cost is unsustainable, and stable housing will need to be found. We are seeking assistance from the community as they do not have renters insurance and were unprepared for this.

Please assist with anything you can! It will be greatly appreciated and used to replace items and secure stable housing for the second-floor victims.
