Help My 80-Year-Old Father and Sister Stay Cool and Keep Their Animals Safe

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out with a heartfelt plea for my father and my sister, both of whom have sacrificed so much for our country. My father, an 80-year-old retired and disabled Army veteran, and my sister, a 50-year-old disabled Marine Corps veteran, are both facing a dangerous situation right now. Their central air conditioning unit has completely failed, and in the extreme Florida heat, this has become a life-threatening issue for them and the beloved animals they care for.

The Florida summer heat is especially dangerous for my father due to his age and serious health conditions, including heart and breathing issues. Without air conditioning, his health is at risk. For my sister, who has asthma and breathing problems, the situation is equally dangerous. They both rely on the AC not just for comfort, but for their safety and well-being. Their pets are also suffering in the sweltering heat, and it's heartbreaking to see them all in distress.

The AC unit completely blew up, and the cost to replace it is more than they can manage on their fixed incomes. We’re asking for help to raise $11,000 to cover the replacement costs.
