I’m working to raise $11,000 by June 1 to participate in Rally for Rangers, a project of the nonprofit Mongol Ecology Center (MEC). These funds will go toward the purchase of a new dual-sport motorcycle for park rangers in Mongolia, and I get to personally ride and deliver it! Mongolia’s parks are remote but expansive, and the dual-sport motorcycles allow the park rangers to cover more area in order to better protect their country’s wild lands.
I’m an illustrator for Cognia, a leading non-profit organization in the field of educational assessment and accreditation. Cognia has agreed to 100% match my funds, so your donations carry twice the power.
Additionally, my roundtrip flight will cost about $2,000, and while I’ve normally covered my travel for overseas personal trips, this event is happening much sooner than I could save up for, and so I’m including this additional cost to the total. All donations will go first toward the $11,000 needed to participate in Rally for Rangers, and any donations made after this amount has been reached will help with my personal travel costs.
More information about RFR can be found on their website linked below, and check out the 13 minute video. I hope you’ll support me and Rally for Rangers, as I combine my passion for motorcycling with volunteering!
Thank you!
