Support Dio’Viani's Recovery from Severe Burns
Donation protected
On the evening of April 6th, Dio’Viani was working on his truck when it suddenly caught fire. The fire quickly spread to Dio’s clothes and caught him on fire causing him to be in flames as well. His immediate impulse was to run next door to tell the elderly neighbor to get out incase her home was to catch fire which delayed him from extinguishing the fire on his own body. He sustained third degree burns to his entire lower body and his arm. We are so grateful he survived but he has a long road to recovery ahead.
We are raising money to help cover what will be (and already are) immense medical costs, including an ambulance, a life flight helicopter to lincoln to St. Elizabeth Burn Center where he will be for up to two months, multiple surgeries to come, then to Madonna Rehabilitation facility.
Dio was also the primary earner for his family - Emily and their three children ages 4, 2, and 2 months. He will be out of work for an indeterminate amount of time, and Emily’s hands will be full caring for their newborn daughter, two son’s and Dio upon his return home.
Any contribution would help with the rising medical costs, already topping $25,000 in just one day. Thank you in advance for donating, or sharing this to others. Please keep us in your prayers. ❤️
