Our beloved mom, Diosa, was recently diagnosed with Stage 1A uterine cancer, also known as Endometrial Adenocarcinoma. Hearing the word “cancer” is something no family is ever truly prepared for, and in what felt like an instant, life became filled with doctor appointments, surgery, treatments, and so many emotions and uncertainties. Diosa has already undergone a full hysterectomy as part of her treatment, and now she is beginning the next phase of this journey with chemotherapy. After chemotherapy, she will continue with radiation treatments. Through it all, our family is standing beside her and praying for strength, peace, and healing every step of the way.
As Diosa continues this fight, the medical expenses from her surgery, chemotherapy, upcoming radiation treatments, doctor visits, testing, medications, and other necessary care have continued to add up. What is already an incredibly difficult journey physically and emotionally has also created a heavy financial burden. The hope is to ease that pressure so Diosa can focus on healing, regaining strength, and getting through each treatment one day at a time. Asking for help is never easy, especially for someone who has spent so much of life caring for family and helping others. But now Diosa needs others to be there for her. No contribution is too small, and every donation will mean so much. If donating is not possible, please share Diosa’s story and keep her in your prayers.
