Our beloved Dio is once again facing the fight of his life. In April 2024, Dio received a heart transplant that gave him and his family hope for more time together. Unfortunately, his journey has taken an unexpected turn and, through no fault of his own, he is now awaiting a second heart transplant. To receive the specialized care he needs, Dio and his wife, Jody, must relocate to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee for an extended period—potentially anywhere from six months to a year. During this time, they will be away from their home, family, and support system while focusing entirely on Dio's health and recovery.
Dio is a devoted husband, loving father, and proud abuelo who means the world to his family. He has always been someone others can depend on, offering love, guidance, and support whenever it was needed. Now, he needs our help. The funds raised through this campaign will help cover temporary housing and living expenses in Tennessee, as well as incoming medical bills. As a friend of their daughter, Shayla, I am organizing this fundraiser to support Dio and Jody during this difficult time.
No contribution is too small, and everything will help relieve some of the financial burden so Dio and Jody can focus on what matters most—his health and healing. If you are unable to donate, please share this and keep Dio and their family in your thoughts and prayers. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity, support, and encouragement. Your kindness means more than words can express.
