Howdy!

My name is Dionne and I’m a new mom.

I’ve been tinkering on the edge of housing insecurity since taking maternity leave back in September of 2024, barely holding my situation together during postpartum.

A lot of things have been rough these past few months, but not impossible.

At this time, I have the opportunity to secure affordable housing for me and my six month old daughter. To support this kind of shift in my life, I have to ask for help from my community and loved ones.

I’m hoping to secure enough funds for the deposit ($500), moving costs ($300), and first month’s rent ($900) at a minimum. It would be amazing to get enough to cover the second month of rent & utilities, just to stay ahead of the curve.

(It’s a definite bonus if I can get household items for baby proofing, toiletries, cleaning supplies, towels, and hangers.)
