Hello, I never thought I would stoop so low as to ask for financial help, but I figured that it couldn't hurt, and I am nearing desperation. Due to unforeseeable events in December 2024, I am now facing insurmountable financial difficulty. As well as owing my Property Barons several hundred dollars in late rent and utility fees, I am being forced to find homes for three of my five cats, which I have had since their births. As some of you know, I have been a crazy cat person, and a kitten foster for many years. I have had 4-5 cats, the entire length of my residence here (7 years), but the landlord is now cracking down, due to being upset that I owe them money, and requiring "pet rent" (even retroactive), and forcing me to give up the three, or be evicted. I am a full-time grad student, as well as studying towards my certification as an end-of-life coach and also work 30 hours per week. I am facing some health challenges (more than usual) and am currently waiting for this quarter's student loan deposit, which I fear will not come in time to pay the rent or back fees. I am fearing that I will face the threat of eviction for the 2nd month in a row. We were forced to pay $4000 at the beginning of January to avoid being evicted, and the stress of it all has been overwhelming, to say the least, and I am physically and mentally exhausted. I would greatly appreciate any help and can even pay some back when I DO receive my student loan deposit. I would also appreciate it very much if anyone can adopt a cat or all three, as they will have to be surrendered to the Humane Society (with surrender fees for each) if they don't find homes by the end of the month. Thank you for reading, and blessings to you all. Love, Dina
