Dear friends and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Dina and I’m reaching out to you today with a humble request for help. For the last twelve years, I have been battling a disease that has affected all aspects of my life. Scleroderma is an overproduction of collagen. The version I have affects my organs, tissues, and bones. My body is slowly turning into stone. Recently, life has thrown me a difficult challenge that I could never have anticipated, and I need your support to get through it.

I was recently diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, chronic lung infections, and chronic fractured ribs.

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to work and pay for basic needs (such as shelter, medications, and bills). I have been unemployed for 3 months and have spent all of my savings to prevent me from becoming homeless. I filed for disability 2 1/2 years ago, and we are still waiting for my approval. After several medical tests and treatments, I am facing overwhelming bills.

Due to my diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis and constant lung fractures, I am struggling to keep up with my rent, utilities, oxygen tank, and daily living expenses.

The financial burden of this situation has been hard to manage. I am on the verge of being evicted, having my power shut off, and my car being repossessed. These funds will go towards paying medical bills, purchasing necessary medications, and covering day-to-day expenses until I can get back on my feet. Any support will go directly toward helping me heal and rebuild.
