In Loving Memory of Our Sweet Demetri

It is with the heaviest heart that we share the unimaginable news of the passing of our beloved Demetri. As he just turned 12 years old, he fought a battle no child should ever have to face. After a courageous fight with cancer, his tiny body grew tired, and he peacefully gained his wings.

No parent is ever prepared to plan a funeral for their child. We are heartbroken and trying to navigate a reality we never imagined. As we begin the painful process of laying this sweet boy to rest, we are asking for help from the community.

We want to give Demetri the beautiful and dignified farewell he deserves — one that reflects the love, joy, and light he brought into this world. Unfortunately, funeral expenses are overwhelming, especially during a time where his mother Emily’s entire focus has been on his care, comfort, and hope for healing.
