Support Dimi’s Fight Against Acute Leukemia
Donation protected
Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,
We're reaching out to share the story of our cousin in Sri Lanka, Dimitri Seneviratne - we call him Dimi.
In July 2024, at 29 years old, Dimi was diagnosed with mixed phenotype acute leukemia. Just two days after his diagnosis, he began his long and difficult journey battling against this cancer.
This devastating news has shaken our lives, but we remain hopeful and positive.
Dimi has already been undergoing intense rounds of chemotherapy with the FLAG-Ida regimen to combat this aggressive disease. However, his doctors have emphasized the urgent need for a bone marrow transplant to ensure the leukemia is completely eradicated and to give him the best chance for a full recovery.
As Dimi navigates this challenging journey, the financial burden of his treatment is mounting. The costs for the chemotherapy, ongoing medical care, and the upcoming bone marrow transplant are significant. So we are rallying to support Dimi and his family during this critical time.
Your generosity can make a tremendous difference in Dimi's fight against leukemia. Any contribution you can provide, no matter how small, will make a difference and will go directly to covering medical expenses and support his recovery. Understanding that times are tough right now, if you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this around with your community.
Thank you for standing with Dimi and for your kindness and support.
