Dima Fakhouri is a 2-year-old toddler with a genetic skin disorder called epidermolysis bullosa dystrophica (DEB). The protein that glues the skin layers together is flawed, which leads to the skin not joining together properly, blistering, and scarring. It can even affect the mucous membranes and cause constipation and eating difficulties.
There is a medication to help with this, but it costs an astronomical amount and is not available in Palestine. This campaign is to help Dima and her family get the medication she needs so desperately. This is a temporary solution to help alleviate her symptoms until we can find her a long-term solution. But for now, please consider donating and spreading awareness. Thank you and God bless.
